  • Kept only as long as necessary for the purposes we have told you about.

How do we collect your data? 

We collect data and process data indirectly online: 

  • From the completion of the website contact form

  • From completion of a website booking form

  • From anonymised data from the website Google Analytics provider 

We also collect and process data you provide directly during assessment and therapy sessions.

 

What data do we collect?
On our website we collect any information you provide:

  • Your name, phone number, email address and 

  • Home address (when needed for a home appointment)

  • Child’s name and date of birth (when the appointment is for a child)

  • Payment details

 

In addition the website also collects:

  • Your Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet

  • Data for Google Analytics (see section on 3rd parties)
     

How do we use your personal data?
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Legitimate interests is the legal basis we rely upon to process your personal data. We cannot adequately deliver a service to you without processing your personal information. 


We collect your data so that we can provide you with the information and services that you request from us; and to improve our website to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and your device.
 

How do we process and protect your personal data?
Your data may be processed securely with the following third parties:

  • WriteUpp -  clinical notes are stored on this Practice Management Software. See https://www.writeupp.com/privacy-policy.pdf for WriteUpp’s Privacy Notice

  • Google Drive - any videos that are either shared with us or recorded by us are stored securely on Google Drive for the duration of therapy. They will then be deleted. Videos are never shared with any other person or professional unless explicit consent is gained. See here for Google’s Privacy Policy. 

  • Wix.com - the website platform that allows us to sell our service to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.. See here for Wix’s Privacy Policy.

  • Square - the payments platform we use on our bookings page. See here for Square’s Privacy Policy. 

  • Google Analytics - measures how users interact with our website content by recording information about page views and remembering what you have done on previous interactions with the website. See here for Google’s Privacy Policy. 


How do we protect your personal data?

We know how important it is to protect and manage your personal data. These are the measures we have in place:

  • Personal data is never stored on hard drives or removable storage. 

  • Cloud storage and accounts are all password protected. 

  • Access to devices that are used to access these accounts are protected using biometrics. 

  • Devices are also protected against viruses, malware, spyware and ransomware and use firewalls and additional webcam security. 

  • Data provided in email or text message format is deleted once it has been transferred to the relevant cloud storage. 

 

We have put into place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you of a breach where we are legally required to do so. 

How long will we keep your data for?

In accordance with the Health and Care Professionals Council clinical case notes are kept for 7 years after treatment ends (for adults) or the age of 25 (for under 18’s). Following this time period all clinical case notes are deleted. 

All other personal data is deleted after 3 years of collection. 

How do you request or amend your data?

You have the legal right to request all information held about you. We will respond to all such requests within 30 days. Requests must be made in writing. 

How does our website use cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent from your browser to your device. Our website uses cookies to collect data and improve customer service. You can use the “Help” function on most browsers to accept or disable cookies or to be notified when a cookie is being sent. If you disable all cookies you may not be able to use some features of our website.
