Before this I worked as a nursing assistant, and I was inspired to retrain after seeing the benefits that Speech and Language Therapy could bring with a family member. I have experience of working with children and young people from preschool to secondary school age, with a wide range of communication needs such as language delay and disorders, speech delay and disorders, stammering, autism, selective mutism and complex needs. Aimee McEvilly

Specialist Paediatric Dietitian

"I am a Paediatric Dietitian, with over 10 years of experience working as a registered Dietitian for the NHS.  I work part-time as a Specialist in General Paediatrics at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and have recently started working in the private sector. One of the aspects of my job I feel most passionate about is feeding therapy. I am excited to be able to work alongside a therapy team, to provide a holistic approach that helps children and their families with a range of feeding difficulties."
