Book an initial assessment with us

This session will tell us everything we need to know about how much to support you and your child. We will then create a plan, tailored to suit your and your child perfectly, that includes our expert intervention sessions.

What to expect from our sessions

Our team of therapists are all Sensory Integration Practitioners and this informs the approach of all sessions. We also draw from our experience in Personal Construct Psychology and CBT approaches including the Homunculi and Brief Solution-Focused therapy.

The Intervention Sessions will focus on working with the child or young person to identify difficulties and then supporting them to find things which help. This could involve demonstrating relevant regulation and sensory strategies and creating a programme which promotes regulation at home and school or support engagement in learning, self-care and leisure activities.

We use creative, strengths-based approaches to address mental health difficulties including problem solving and building self-esteem and resilience. We are able to provide psychoeducation around mental health, wellbeing, routine and self-care and facilitate management of anxiety and low mood by combining our sensory and mental health experience.

Following this, a short summary of intervention and recommendations will be provided to the family for future reference and to enable embedding of strategies in the child/young person’s home and school environment.
